  1. 1. They either didn't have any children or any hearts.
    2. I think that I would only have one. After seeing your baby implanted and loose their spark and passion.... I think it would take all the rewarding parts of parenthood away. What's more rewarding than seeing your child make a right decision because they want to? not because they fear to not to.
    3. I think he started out as good, way before Termination, but I think having power over people can be addictive. He did experiments before on humans... so maybe he was never really good at heart. I think he just got good at justifying it.
4.I would like to think that i would help Eric, but can you really know unless your in that position?
    5. It reminded me of The Host....
    6. No. The government wouldn't be necessary if people would govern themselves.... I think its a society/cultural flaw when its morally ok to be dishonest, selfish, greedy... The better plan would be to change what is acceptable behavior. Teach the children.
    7. I don't think so. With out the freedom the make choices are you really living?
    8. I think it was convenient. You know how people will date someone just cause they are there... and they are lonely?
    9. I would give it an 4
I really liked it. It makes you think about what is important to you. I didn't notice this the first time i read it but at the beginning when Travis is seeing Nicky for the first time since he got back from the village he talks about how no other girls have the same spark that she does... and they have implantations.... And they couldn't put two and two together.... anyways, interesting.
    10. I would recommend it :) Great book! Nice pick G!

  2. 1. I cant even imagine the anger and quite honestly the violent rage that would be going on inside of me if i had to witness that happening to my child. I dont think implantation would stop me from stabbing the doctors.

    2. I dont think i would have any but i would most likely have to have one to know i didnt want one.

    3. I think that maybe he started out as a good person but i also think he had a sadistic streak hidden in his ego. I think that as he started developing the implanting methods his love of people started to diminish and his love of power took over. In the end he just loved to play at being god and the front of " this is for the good of everyone " was a cover to justify his power.

    4. I dont know. I would like to think i would but if my family was at risk i dont know if i would be willing to risk them.

    5. I got a clinch of fearand disgust in my stomach.

    6. I dont see the point of implanting regular citizens. Crazies and criminals i can understand more but even if it started ou tthat way i would be afraid of the government making it for everyone.

    7. No. As much as i hate how the world is today freewill is why we are here.

    8. I dont think they loved eachother for real. Travis was a mini major with an ambitous ego that didnt leave much room forreal love. It was shallow an di hate dhow when he was describing her he was picking out imperfections.

    9. 4.5 this book is one of my favoritesbecause it make syou look at your life and question what you would do and what evil is.

    10. Already have recommended it many atime. I love this book.

    Thank you :)

I thought it was interesting how the gaurdians were afraid of implantations and the major wasnt subject to it.
